Cannellini are delicious and nutritious! Cannellini beans are a traditional Southern Italian bean, often named White Kidney Bean. They are large, white, oval-shaped beans with a delightful fluffy, creamy texture when cooked and a slightly nutty flavour.
Fantastic in Italian-inspired soups, casseroles and salads, canellini beans also make a fabulous mash. Try whipping cooked beans with garlic, olive oil and lemon juice for a healthy, protein-filled substitute for your standard mashed potatoes.
