Organic Road Organic Unbleached Spelt Flour is lighter and nuttier than whole wheat flour with the bran removed. Spelt is an ancient cereal grain that has been cultivated for centuries; it is a close relative to wheat and does contain gluten. It’s easier to digest than other wheat flours and will give you a lighter texture to baked goods. This is an unrefined flour with no bleaching or additives used and no sugar or salt added.
HOW TO USE
Spelt flour can be substituted where a recipe calls for all-purpose flour. It is ideal for use in pasta, bread, cakes, biscuits or muffins.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
